If you're looking for a clean-cut, modest BJJ Gi with quality workmanship at a killer price, this is the time! Today's Nova at just 60 bucks is a steal, combining lightweight materials with a modern fit and minimal look.$60 - $70
White shows too much dirt and stains, navy will fade to purple so I like the black gi!!!
Never A3H sizes on any gi :(
Take it as a motivation to loose some weight. You'll be happy about it.
Be aware that this gi fits a bit baggy. I have the white one and find the pants quite wide. The top is a good fit.
I'm a size A2 with the 93 brand, would the size A2 from tatami fit me well, or I should consider size A2L?
Also, are these pre-shrunk?
Depends on how the 93Brand's A2 size fits you. Are you taller then you are heavier? If you're tall and skinny, then I would absolutely recommend that you check out the A2L.
I'm 5'11, 162lbs
A2 will fit. But then nova is cost efficient for a reason. Shrinkage on the nova is greater than Fuji or other tatami gi. My A2 was always warm washed and air dried just like all my other gi and, did well but gradually shrunk to about an a1 size in about 2 month span. The white gi will definitely look dirty soon.
