Tatami Combate Gi

Unique new Jiu Jitsu Gi by Tatami Fightwear, featuring original artwork by John Smalls! The black fabrics (Pearl Weave and canvas cotton) look great with their red accents and, of course, contrasting red collar. The sturdy 550 GSM top and 12oz trousers are sure to hold up during your toughest sessions, while managing to still feel breathable and comfortable.

Across the right chest/shoulder, Tatami has introduced an innovative new style of graphic application that utilizes a cross-hatched mesh center with a raised, embroidered edge. And the jacket's interior? Just as exciting, featuring a fully lined mesh liner with 100% sublimated artwork that looks great and adds a uniquely comfortable layer between the weave and your skin. The pants are equipped with double-layered knees and a Pearl Weave crotch gusset. Tatami's reliable multi-loop waist system and round cord drawstring can be found along the waist.

Same cut and fit as the Estilo model. All artwork from the rear jacket COMBATE embroidery to the woven labels and interior's illustrations have been done by the NY artist John Smalls.

See the last image for detailed sizing info.

I run two estilo 5.0 gi's in my rotation already, probably the best Gi I've used... This is the same cut etc as the Estilo so I'm excited about getting this bad boy! Looks sick!!

Nope, unfortunately not IBJJF approved because the collar cannot be a different color than the jacket.

Anyone know how much do they tend to shrink ? My ( A measurements are 150), I always wear an A3 Inverted Gear to cover my arms, because A2 is usually 4 inches short of the wrist.

Damn this is one sweet gi. My only qualm is that I'm in Canada, so it's roughly $200 CAD after everything is said and done.

Is this gi really worth that price tag, or should I just save my money?
