Special new colorway of the Estilo, the blue Graphite edition! Tatami's Estilo 5.0 is the best one yet, boasting simple yet refined branding along the shoulders and thighs, utilizing a unique embroidery process with merrowed edges and a flat surface. Interior seams are lined with updated woven taping , while a beautifully sublimated interior yoke panel lines the shoulders.
As always, Tatami uses incredibly durable materials. The jacket: 550 GSM Pearl. pants: 12 oz. canvas cotton with reinforced knees. Equipped with split side vents, innovated to include a new "Y" shape slit. The angled style allows the skirt to fall more naturally around your waist.
Both jacket and trousers are thoroughly reinforced with heavy-duty contrast stitching and 2nd layers where needed. Trousers are equipped with wider drawstring loops that better guide the drawstring, itself the round stretch variety. A new woven label is sewn just under the waist, only exposed once your jacket is opened. A similar small and tasteful detail lies on the jacket's rib area in the form of a small "estilo 5.0" text embroidery.
One last woven label is placed inside the jacket opening, detailing the care instructions for your new Estilo 5.0. Where many brands will toss in a generic manufacturer's tag, Tatami has put together a well done graphic label. It's the small details such as this that make the Estilo 5.0 a worthwhile purchase!
I've got 6 of these Gis in different colours, I'd have 6 more if the wife didn't put a ban on my Gi purchases! Without doubt up there with the best kimonos on the market!!
The exact gi I'm looking for, but I already have a blue gi :(
