Sizing question for a short lady grappler new to gi buying. Roughly 5'0", about 175lbs if you discount bust -- 44" chest but 35" ribs (usually fit in men's M shirts well), not sure hip/waist measurements but fit in a men's 36" waist x 30" inseam classic 505 levi's jeans a little bit snug in the waistband but wearable. Most weight is held in upper thighs and seat. Should an A2 be okay, or would the pants be too tight? I'm in an A3 OTM XLC 240 right now that has a lot of room. (And on mobile so the screen just disappeared ah). Many thanks!

Have you looked at Fenom gis/kimonos? They are made for women of all different shapes and, if your top is a different size than your bottom (like me), you can get each in different sizes.

Does this shrink more than the original 550gsm white panda gi? I'm 5'5 165 and wear an A1. Also have the 93 Brand Zodiac gi and after a few washes and drying, the A1 fits pretty well. Thanks.

Yes, this one has more shrinkage than the heavier Panda.

Funny you mention the 93brand Gi, because this IG Light Pearl has a very similar jacket weave and comparable shrinkage. Go for the A1 :)

Thanks @george_HQ. Would the A2 be better if I wanted to fully dry it after every wash? Or would it be too big and look like I stole it?

@Howie I think A2 would just be too bit regardless of repeated drying.

With Gis it's not recommended to use heat in your wash and/or dry for extended periods, so the best method would be to grab an A1 and wash warm once or twice to get the shrinkage out, and then go to the hang dry method :)

Thanks @george_HQ. Looks like I'll have to wait for the next time this is back on. A1 is sold out.

Wish the stitching was like the black. That blue stitching is the reason I bought the black

Hey! Basic (hopefully) question: Does the "H" in the sizing stand for "Husky"?

Any insight on how this compares with the Tatami Sub-Zero V2 in regards to fit? I am 5'9 and 170lbs and purchased the Tatami in A2. After many hot washes and tumble dries, the Gi top still feels baggy with the sleeves too long and easy to grip. Looking to avoid this my next gi purchase.

I'm 5'9" and I weigh around 225, but I'm working my way down. Would I want to order the A2H or go for an A3? I wear an A3 in Moya Brand, and it's a little long.

I have the A0 currently and the sleeves are a tad bit longer than I'd like after shrinking the jacket. Does the A0S have shorter sleeves or is it just the body that's slimmer?

    Pretty much everything :)

Different jacket fabric (350 GSM instead of 500 or 550)
different pants fabrics (10oz instead of 12oz)
Embroidery color (light blue instead of black)
