How does this lighter hyperfly version compare to the hyperlyte? I have two hyperlytes and love them but am concerned the cut of this gi is less comfortable, due to attempting to remove "excess fabric". The hyperlyte is also 450gsm, but is this a different (rougher) weave?
Agreed. Same question. The height will fit me but it sounds like it will be tighter to the body. @aaron Rubin : any tips?
This is definitely a heavier weave. There are some portions of the jacket that have a sewn in rashguard portion (around the neck/shoulders) that the hyperlyte doesn't have. The procomp jacket is also a way slimmer cut that the hyperlyte jacket. I am 5'10, 180, mostly legs, and a 32 waist--both fit me in an A2, but the procomp is definitely tighter to the skin but also extremely comfortable.
Size chart seems to be off... A2 should be 165lbs to 196lbs...
Likely this is correct; the jacket is MUCH slimmer than others I've worn.
