Are these a true-to-size fit, or a little slim? I bought a 36 in the Bad Boy Shorts and they were too small, as in I couldn't close the Velcro strap. I'm wondering if I should get the 38s or the 40s?
Since the fabric on these is nice and stretchy, they're true to fit and pretty accommodating.

are these 4 way stretch?
Yes. It is the same stretch as all the 93 brand shorts.

I never had a 93 brand shorts. I wear only 4 way stretch like surf shorts.
93 Brand shorts are great, I just don't like this design that much.
