I don't understand why a lot of people who live in countries cooler than Brazil think anything over 450 GSM is too heavy and hot.
This is a heavily reinforced gi, all the stitchings are held by twill tape on the inside. Sturdy and comfy. But the collar isn't that stiff and thick, it's very pliable and some chokes can make you think your head will roll off.
Only my HCK and Inverted Gear have the same cotton twill taping reinforcements on the stitchings like that. Never saw other brands doong that. Even on the sleeves.

Cotton blend? Does that mean it's Cotton/poly now? I have one made about 10 years ago, and it's 100% cotton
So yours may be another model.
