Two cold wash and hot dry cycles and i got a little over 1" shrink on the pants and sleeves, as well as everything slimming down a little.

Guy at my gym is about same size as you and he's in an A2. Looks to fit perfect but can't dry it or it will be too short. Imo go a2l and dry on low.

At 5'9 195lbs I had to shrink my a2 premium quite a bit. So a2 for should be fine even with shrinking a bit to shorten it up.

I dry mine, got a couple inches of shrinkage all around of the top and pants. 5'9 185 lbs and I wear an a2. Sleeve And pant length are close to being too short just above wrist and ankle bone.
