I should have reintroduced myself. When I was Sammy Roberts I used to get lots of love here. I am now Samantha and I am sad to be getting so much trans hate. I thought bjj was an inclusive community. The women I beat on the mat get so angry, I think if I had a pink C spec gi they wouldn't take it so hard. I hope you can understand.

It's great to meet you, Samantha :) I've been following the comments here and just wanted to pop in as a voice of sanity. You are not unwanted or unwelcome, and in real life absolutely nobody on the mats at any reputable gym would take issue with your identity. I can confidently speak for all the women in my gym when I say that we would meet you happily in training and in competition because we know trans people, we train with them and we love them. Your bullies are cowards and the fact that they need to resort to an anonymous clothing app to get their jollies is evidence of that, but the good here is stronger no matter what those scared little boys want you or I to believe. You belong here.
