Break Point DLX Pants

Today we've got quite a few options to choose from! The BreakPoint DLX model Gi pants come in three colors, each available in either lightweight canvas or ultra-light ripstop. Both fabrics are 100$ cotton and feature accent contrast stitching. Aesthetically, the difference lies in the use of contrast stitching throughout the knee area (canvas styles will show contrast thread here, while ripstop will not).

For only $17, you can pick up whichever style suits you, whether you like to roll with Gi pants during nogi class or if you want some backup pants for Gi classes. If you're anything like me, you wear your favorite Gi into the ground and, ultimately, the first thing to show wear 'n tear is the pants. This is the perfect opportunity to pick up alternate pants in any of the three main BJJ Gi colorways for a fraction of the usual cost!

Not what I was saying at all. They are $17. Which is a great deal. Who cares what they weigh. I'm happy you have good communication with your wife. Now settle down

for a 5'8" 160-165 pound male, is A1 or A2 a better fit? I've heard Breakpoint Gi stuff runs a size big.

    A1 ' 5'5"-5'8" ' 135-160 lbs
    A2 ' 5'8"-5'11" ' 160-185 lbs

A1 is a better fit if you're Cold Wash / Hang Dry.
If you want to grab an A2, you just need to shrink to fit.

You could rock an A3 as long as you cold wash / hang dry.
If you grab an A4, it'll be a more relaxed fit, girth-wise, but longer than you need.

Just order a couple without checking sizing. Is this A2 like any typical A2? Like say inverted gear panda A2?

I jumped it right away. I normally wear A2. The sizing seems smaller.

I try to avoid saying typical, as there are so many fits (e.g. Fuji is very popular, as is Scramble, but they have very different cuts).

The BreakPoint A2 is recommended for 5'8"-5'11" ' 160-185 lbs... Inverted Gear recommends the exact same height range, 5'8"-5'11", and a barely different weight range of 165-195 lbs. So it's pretty similar in length, perhaps a little bit more tailored in terms of bagginess.
