    What why? It's a white gi. If you like it, wear it. You don't have to be a certain skill level to wear a certain gi.

    Not at all. There's no ranking associated with gi brand/style/color.

    I would say that it would look a little silly for a guy to show up with a $300 gi on his first day, but that's just because you should make sure you're going to stick with it before you invest a lot of money.

    This is a very good gi for a very good price. Go for it.

    Yes the ultra lights stretch pretty bad. The pro lights are much better.
