There may have been spats up on ebay. There is still one small rashguard on there though.
they even cut and pasted the bjjhq ad from this sale.

Look at all these men arguing about a unicorn and rainbow.

I'd be humiliated to be submitted in one of these. I'll buy 2!
I would be more humiliated to be submitted by someone wearing this.

Any plans for Rolling Deals on BJJ HQ anytime soon? I really enjoyed the one that was done on MMA HQ a few days ago. Really exciting. Thanks
They did one not too long ago.
Can we get another deal please? This is crazy that it was gone so quickly. I want to give you my money!
DOTA strikes again... :/
Does anyone know where I could get this full price?
this is their website, but I guess they are in the process of making a new one.... http://www.ponyclubgrapplinggear.com/
I think we're the only place to get it at the moment.
There is a small on ebay already.
so pumped that this came out. For all you guys complaining, you gotta be quick on the draw!
Well that sucks...I really like that one. And was gonna get my friend one too.
Got one! Good timing I decided to randomly checked the site. Think it can get here in a week before my tournament Saturday?
If you got it, it will ship from NY on Monday.
I am also insanely upset that this sold out so quickly...
Sold out of big guys sizes. I guess I'll need to tattoo it on my chest instead :(
>40 minutes to sell out? Is that a new record?
ohh yea this is very swish but no monies till next week then these sites can have it all again lol

Ugh do I get small or medium as a 155lb 5'4" girl?
Lauren - you'd want a small. I'm a 147 5'4" gal and that's my size as well.
Haha thanks I bought a medium as the smalls sold out just as I went to click on them- I'd rather it be a little loose than too tight! Thanks, though!
I already posted this as a reply to my earlier comment.. But maybe if this post gains enough support, BJJHQ can grow even more. so please like/comment. Without adequate stock to supply 24 hours worth of orders, why bother even wasting 24 hours on it? Why not just run a one hour deal with a subsequent one hour deal and so on..? Just seems quite pointless and redundant to have a clock counting down to the end of a deal that's already over.. The whole basis of the site is to provide rolling deals, and if it's not maximizing its time to generate revenues then it just seems like there are areas for improvement... Maybe on the off chance that someone from BJJHQ reads this, it will improve the overall quality of service, and better satisfy their customers. I mean, obviously there are going to be certain deals that have a high level of inventory, and to the contrary, deals that have a lower level of inventory... Just might be a good idea for BJJHQ to offer each deal with its own time keeping in mind availability/inventory levels. Nothing wrong with evolving and becoming more efficient. In fact, it's how you thrive in business.
I can understand your point but also I see it as why have 1000 items in stock when you only sell 40 in 24 hours. I went looking around for this rash guard to see if anyone else had it. if you follow meerkatsu's facebook page or pony clubs page they all said a day in advance this was going to be as today's deal. there was notice of this going on sale. and say they had what 20 of each? or less. I'm sure they got a limited of them. granted I'm sure they would love to sale 1000 of these but that's how the market on limited run items are. I could have gotten this but I chose not to. since it is a cool design just not for me and I have enough rash guards. And you can get there app for android phones which sends you a nice reminder to check out what just came up for sale.
tl;dr. I come to this site only because i dont know what items are going to go up and know they are limited. but i know it will be at the same time every day. if you miss out its your fault.
Ridiculous that this item sold out in all sizes in less than 40 minutes... Why even bother listing something if you don't have stock available? Maybe just me being a little bent cause I didn't see this in time to snag one, but it just seems like a waste of a 24 hour deal if you only have enough stock to supply for 40 minutes... Sick rashguard tho and I hope this deal happens again soon.
But of course there may have been quite a large number available, just especially high sales because this rash guard is... well... really something. #unicorns

how do you know that they didn't have 24 hours worth of rash guards and they just sold out that fast? it's a killer design with mass appeal. i'm sure there were a lot of people all over it at midnight. Cheer up buddy. You'll get your chance again to purchase one.
You can't anticipate how much of an item are gonna sale. And it's limited stock. They are able to give such great deals because of this format. This was an anticipated rash guard. Meerkatsu put it up before it was on sale. People knew it was coming so it got bought up fast. I think this business model is working great. A small profit is made off each item sold which keeps the cost to us low. If he did rolling deals all the time that would require more man power to run. Which would make his profits go down which would drive up price to us. I'm glad I snagged it up when I did. Awesome rashguard.
As a former General Manager and current retailer, I have a great deal of insight as to how to improve a business. The industry standard is that the higher amount of a product ordered drastically decreases the landed cost. One can generate much more revenue with more product and more man power. It's ludicrous to think that the owner/operator of BJJHQ would be content in its current form and would not want to evolve and expand. As with any business, growth and development is of the utmost importance, especially if you want to attempt to stay relevant. I like this site, but have been frustrated quite a few times by quick sell outs, and if I am, so are others (by logic).. This is just my personal and professional opinion and my critique as a consumer.. Of course, on the Internet, I'm sure there are plenty of people with no industry knowledge that are sure to argue on behalf of BJJHQ and that's fine because it is a good business model, and you will have missed my point. But there is always room for improvement and evolution.
Sometimes when you figure out a format and it works You make a sustainable income and you're and you don't need to be greedy and get exceedingly rich. If the site needs to evolved I'm sure it will. But judging by the fact that they sold out in 40 minutes they are doing okay and probably happy with what they are doing.
This definitely falls into the "to each his own" category. I really hope this sold out so fast to women. Why would a guy want a unicorn with a rainbow on his shirt? Consider it a blessing if you're a dude and missed out on this.
I wish I had been able to get one just on the off chance that I get to tap you out one day while wearing it.
Whatever logic makes you feel better about wearing a design that was probably meant for 6yr old girls.
My wife was mad she missed this.
Just because you're not comfortable enough with yourself to wear this, or not into it, does not mean that people cant have fun and enjoy their bjj journey. Be yourself and let everyone else be themselves.
