Inverted Gear's Gis have always been a hit.$110
Great Gi and awesome deal, in for A2. Woot woot!
I'm a muscular 5'7", 165/170 lb female; will an A2 work for me? my current gi is a Fuji A2, which fits mostly (pants are short).
Fuji runs a little more snug than Inverted Gear. A2 Inverted would probably be too long, A1 is a better choice *as long as* you always wash cold and hang dry.
I'm 5'8 and 130 - Slim and long limbed, will the A1T be too long? does it shrink a bit in the length? or would the A1 have been the best fit? ( the A1 Gamness AIR Shrunk to the perfect fit ) Thanks
A1-T would likely be a bit big for you. A1 is a better choice, just be sure to cold wash/hang dry.
no A1 left :( thanks
does it come with a belt?
It does not.
Hi - I'm on the taller side of the female division (5'8"/5'9"ish, my weight is usually between 150 to max 160lbs) and I was wondering, if the A1T or A2 is the better fit. Any piece of advice appreciated!
I had A1T in the first batch of panda gis, and found the arms and legs to be way too long. I'm 5'7-5'8ish and about 140. Unless you have very thin arms and legs, I think the A1T might be too tight as its a slimmer cut. I currently wear A1 in the Gold Weave and CS panda gis and they fit well after a few goes in the dryer, so you would probably be ok with A1
A1 definitely.
Mr. Lloyd, how many gis can one person own? See you at the gym tonight!
Hey guys what size should I get? I'm 6'1", 190-195 Do they run big?
A2-T! I'm 6'1"-6'2" and about 180-185 lbs, my Panda A2-T is a great fit.
I'm thinking an A0T?
I need a gi for my wife. She's 5 7" 120lbs, what size do you recommend?
A1 is probably the best size, though it may require a few spins in the dryer on Medium Heat in order to shrink-to-fit
I'm a muscular 5'9" tall and weigh 210lbs. Do I get the A3 or the A2H?
A2H im the same build and it fits great.
I would say A3 would fit better, A2H seems way too wide
I'm going to try the A2H. Thanks for both of your inputs!
I'm 5'4 and 135lbs. Should I get a A0 or A1?
A1 for sure
Thank you!
A0 for sure not A1.
I agree with Lloyd. A0 with cold wash/hang dry will get you a more fitted Gi. A1 will be a much more relaxed cut.
What about shrinkage?
Inverted gear doesn't shrink very much at all. So lost of the time measurements are right on.
are these 2 sizes correct? A0: 5'0"-5'4" 1120-135 lbs A0-T: 5'0"-5'3" 100-130 lbs Because it looks like A0T is shorter then A0
yeah. i was wondering the same thing. i would get one if it really for A0-T: 5'0"-5'3" 100-130 lbs . My wife is 5'2 & 105 lb. A0: 5'0"-5'4" 1120-135 lbs would be too big
It is correct. The A0-T is more of a "Slim" than a "Tall" - it's essentially for someone who *would* fit into an A0 but finds it a bit too wide or loose. So the A0-T is slimmed down :)
Oh snap.....
if you have any a-2t left at 10:59 i'll take one for $80 ;-)
Ibjjf legal or nah?
Yes.
Im an A2 in Fuji. But inverted gear has a different sizing chart..what size would I be in this brand??
I'm 5'7" & 140 lbs, A2 in Fuji, and A1 for Inverted Gear. Hope this helps a bit..
Both fit perfect but my Inverted Gear pants have shrunk a bit over the past year.. nothing significant though. A2 Fuji is a little on the loose side compared to my panda gi.
Line your height/weight up with the sizing listed in the description. Many Gi companies have different charts due to different cuts. There's no set conversion (e.g. A2 in Fuji = XX in Inverted, etc) but you're likely an A1. Definitely consult the chart :)
