If you're normally a A1L get the A2. The shrinkage is pretty drastic on this gi.
I'm 5'9 130 pounds and normally opt for A1L in sizing. My Hyperlyte has shrunk enough to the point where I question whether the sleeves or pants will now be considered IBJJF legal.
If I had known beforehand, I would have bought a bigger size.

5'10" and 175lbs. A2 fits real good, lasted a fair while for such a light weight. Used mainly for tournaments and hot weather rolling.

Hi, I just bought this gi and realized there was an error in the shipping address. I sent an email to cs@bjjhq.com with the correct address. Please check and confirm that the shipping address has been corrected. Thanks!

Website states not preshrunk. Anyone familiar with the shrinkage on these? 5'10" & 160 lbs -usually wear A1L but worried about length of sleeves & pants after washing. I only wash cold & hang dry. Any firsthand experiences appreciated.

5'11" 165 and I can wear a A1L cold wash hang dry. It's very slim fitting on me and will be going A2 next time.

i'm 5'8 160lbs and have the a2... they don't shrink THAT much and this gi (along with the blue colored one) is my preferred gi. Unwashed i noticed the sleeve went down to my wrist.. now after many washes i noticed i can barely see my wrist bone. So to me, not that much of a problem... pants and jacket still fit GREAT! i've had more shrinkage problems with my tatami estilo gi. Both my hyperlytes have held up just fine in terms of durability and shrinkage issues... If they make another color and put it up on bjjhq, consider it sold!

    I'm 5'8 and around 165lbs - should I go for A1 or A2? I have Brand93 hooks and A1 and it's a little tight after multiple washes.

5'11" 165 - I have the A2 and love it. I've never put it in the dryer and have not noticed much shrinkage from hang drying.
