The nearly indestructible Howard Combat Kimonos unbleached BJJ gi.$60
I'm 5'9", 190Lbs (Muscular build) The sizing chart makes this look like a gi for tall slim guys. Would I be a size 5 ? Right now I'm using a Keiko Raca A2 (I shrunk it a little too much)
Probably 6. This is a gi for slim guys. I'm 225 and a 6', it barely wraps around in the front, so too tight for me, and i haven't even shrunken it yet.
I have the same build as "boots" and I wear A3s (one is a STORM). I assume 6 is my size as well? This probably isn't a good Gi for me, huh.
I got this the last time it was up. The pants are elastic waistband, so they can be pulled down during rolling. Also, elastic material in waist bands typically don't last that long so the jacket will probably out live the pants. Another HUGE note, the collar is tiny compared to what these used to be. If I had known this all before hand, I would have not ordered this a couple of months ago. R.I.P. HCK
And though this is a pretty thick Single weave, it is nowhere close to a real double weave. If you have a double weave to compare this to you would know the difference.
Are they elastic-waisted pants?
it looks like it. I have an old pair of the pant pant with the string and hated the way they tied so this could only be an improvement.
If your gonna get this expect the sleeves to be a little short I have long arms and they are like halfway up my forearm

i had 2 of these, the single weave is about as thick as a double
