This is a sick gi! I just picked up the blue version last week. It is definitely both tougher and smoother than something like the jjpg ripstop but yet still very light feeling. I am about 5'11", 175 and the A2 fits perfect. Hakai is going to be doing some big things in 2012!
i'm about to pull the trigger on this. i've rolled in a kauai kimonos, 100% all rip-stop gi... and it really does feel like a game-changer. i've heard conflicting things on whether all rip-stop is ibjjf legal (last i heard, it was!)... but as a training gi, especially in a warm climate like hawaii... this seems like a solid pick-up!!! in other news... if moya brand's hawaiian cloth kimono comes up; or a white manto 3.0... i'm all over it!!!
