Man, you're telling me. If I was in the market for another gi, I'd be getting this one (I have the white Grab&Pull and LOVE it). I especially love the orange stitching (go Longhorns!) :)

This gi looks awesome, are the grab & Pulls good? If i could wear black id buy it at that price, unfortunatly we are only allowed to wear white or blue at my academy

Grab & Pull are solid Gis. I've had one for almost a year and not a single loose thread or significant signs of use.

what is a good gi to get for me? ... I am new to BJJ and it seems like all the respective brands fit somewhat differently. I am 5'6... 195... short and stocky. I like a looser fitting gi. Thoughts anyone? thanks! RM

I believe koral and vulkan both make gis more fitted towards stockier guys.

I have similar measurements and dig the look of this gi but will have to pass. Considering the guy in the review is 6' over 200 lbs and the A3 was big on him, this is probably not going to be a good fit for me.

I have the white version in an A2 and am 5'7 and weigh 170 lbs. I shrunk it down to size, but almost too much on the pants. I also would venture to say an A3 might serve you better. Even if it's a little wide, it's a really high quality gi!

As awesome as that gi is, I'd prefer to have just a plain white one with nothing special. I figure since I'm just a white belt, there's no point in having something so flashy and fancy looking. I'll keep waiting until I see one on here to buy.

a3, the a2 will be too short and you can shrink the a3 to fit better

I'm really torn on this GI at the moment. I am 5'9" and 170 pounds. Am I right in the middle of an A2 and A3, with the A2 being too small and the A3 being too big?

Im about the same size as you. I read some reviews and it seems to run big. I'd say get an A2 and just be careful if you dry it.
