It's going to be tricky as your height is A1 and your weight is A2-A3. In cases like that, it's best to go with the bigger of the size. A2 weight limit is 187 so you're riiiiight on the edge.

Your two options are to grab an A2 and accept that it'll be a tad long in the sleeves/pants
    or
Grab an A3 and have the sleeve/pants length tailored (without tailoring, many Gis will be too long for you).

That's such a beautiful gi at a tremendous price... I have to keep reminding myself that I don't need one.

I'm male 5'6" and 157 lbs. Would A1 or A2 be a better fit? My Fuji Kassen II is A2 and Vulkan is A1.

Just wondering if these run large? Im 5'8, 84kg always gone an A3 and shrunk to sjze. Looking at the scale I am sitting right on the edge between A2 and A3. What would yoh recomend? Thanks

6'1" and 215 lbs (no shortage of beer weight on me). Would it be easier for me to shrink the A3L or A4 to my size?

Hi there! I'm new to BJJ and am looking at different gi's. I was wondering how true to size this gi runs, and if it will shrink when washed. I am 5'2'' and around 130 lbs. From the size chart I believe I would be an A1. Any recommendations? I would love to hear from those with some experience.

im around 5,3 and 155 lbs, i ordered an A1 from another brand for my first gi and it fits beautifully, and gold weave does tend to shrink more from what ive read. looking at the sizes i would probably recommend an A1 for you.

I hear you - I'm 6'2, 245 lbs and don't really want to find out if A4 is too small for $120.
