Other pics online show this to have a old style drawstring on the pants, however from the pic, and I can only see a little part, but it looks like it has been changes to a rope drawstring. Do you know if it is now a rope drawstring?

Go for the A1. I'm 5'8", 155 and I use an A2. A2 would be waaay too long on you.

This gi has a sewn in rash guard lining throughout the jacket and arms that keeps the moisture away from your skin and makes for a great looking gi.
