I bought this Gi from here about 5 months ago. It has become my everyday training Gi and the blue still looks new considering how many times I've washed it! (Size A3/170lbs)

I am 5'7 and 172 lbs, and i'm kinda worried about shrinkage would an A2 or A3 fit better?
How much is the shrinkage on these Gi's? I'm 5'7", 175, 34" waist. Usually put my Gi in the dryer so I can use it the next day. Will the A3 be too big?
A2 would be too snug once wash/dried so yes, A3 is a better choice. It just might be too long before wash/drying.
i'm 5'7", 185 lbs, 34" waist/42" chest and an A2 is literally a perfect fit, but i always line dry. A3 will be better if you dry it.

Did you try the size calculator?
Shrinkage is pretty standard as long as you wash cold and hang dry as recommended. If you're using heat then expect more significant shrinkage and possibly go a size up.

Damnit BJJHQ, you got me again. Really like this gi. I needed a cheap gi because my academy's laundry service puts the gis in the dryer, and I don't want to ruin a more expensive gi. I've had this for the better part of a year now, and it's been holding up great without much shrinking. Couldn't pass the opportunity to pick this up again.
Hopefully you will have this deal again when I'm another -30 lbs down!
