This is the most comfortable gi I own. I can't recommend this enough whether you're just starting out or have been training for years.

Would it be possible to get an A3 top and A2 pants? My skinny waist cannot fit in A3 pants. Please?

5'11'' fluctuate weight between 155-170. A2? I have their Kassen in an A3 the top is pretty close to the right size but the pants are way to big (I wear a 32 waist).

Hmm. For the price I think I might just buy one of each and sell off the other to a newer member in the gym.

You like the Kassen? I bought the blue one here too and I'm not a fan. It stretches like hell when you've been rolling a while and my sparring partners love how much sleeve they can get on me. The collar is also not stiff enough either and the belt loops snapped off on the first roll.
Sure, Fujis are cheap, midweight (4.5lb for an A3, with belt) and comfortable, but don't compete in it. Strictly weekend warrior stuff.
I'm A3 in Kassen, 5'11" 150-165lb, while the kimono is like a glove, the pants are baggy.
Hard to find gis fro slim fighters like us!

I absolutely LOVE the top.I never wear the pants anymore as they are too large. I ended up getting a second gi (breakpoint) in an A2. The pants are perfect but the gi top is too big (breakpoint runs retardedly large).

If I was going to do it all over again, I would order a Kassen top A3 and probably order pants seperate from somewhere else like justgipants.com. As for the sleeve/collar issue I don't really see that happening. My Kassen has been a warrior and for quite some time was my only gi. It has been beaten up severely (4-5 practices a week for well over a year until my second gi.) but has withstood the test of time.

It sucks being slim w/ long legs but narrow waist. I think I am going A3 on this gi but will likely just sell my pants and get some others.

I'm 5'5 , 148 pounds. I may plan on cutting down to 135. Which should I buy? Read what you guys said, I'm leaning towards getting the larger size but would like to see what you guys think.

I would go with an A1. Read Harold's post below, he's 6'2 has an A4 and bought an A3 this time. Seems like a lot of people think this gi shrinks, after a dozen or so washes I haven't noticed mine shrink much at all.

I'm 6'2, 180lbs, and I have this gi in a blue A4. After a few hot washes and drys it's still a bit big for my taste. The sleeves are a little past my wrists and the pants are barely touching the tops of my feet. I'm giving the A3 a try this time around.

Guys, these Gis do run a bit snug. So if you're in between sizes and can't decide, go up. And if you normally float in between two sizes, this would be one of those times you pick the larger size.

Haha, Steven yes of course! We are very close with the Scramble guys, you can write on their facebook wall and they'll tell you how cool the BJJHQ are :)

Send us an email @ cs@bjjhq.com if you think there is a defect with your tights, as those things do happen on rare occasions.
