anyone ever roll on the Tatami style? i grabbed them over the smooth and i will be using them for drilling at home. should i have picked up the smooth instead?
Smooth is better for rolling, tatami has a finish that supports more stand up style work. tatami for rolling = more possibilities of mat burn.

BJJHQ is set up for only one item per order, that way resellers or school owners can't buy up all the stock in one purchase (giving everybody an equal shot at at least one). You can always place multiple orders, but it would require its own shipping charge (to discourage re-sellers from buying 30-40 times).

shame there wasnt some kind of warning, would need 2 of these mats to do much of anything with, and a 400 dollar purchase isnt exactly something that i can just casually pick up... good deal for some good mats though

Just made my purchase of (2) mats. Very excited to receive them. Would be nice not to have to purchase (1) at a time. Basically you get charged twice for shipping. But a total of $10 for shipping not so bad when you consider on Dollamur site i was going to be charged $38...All in all its a good deal.
Just FYI - Dollamur has to package and ship each mat separately, so it ends up being $5 per box (much much lower than the true cost of shipping each box).
