No drawstring... ordered these a few months back and I wasn't impressed.

Nope. It's a fitted short with an overlapping velcro closure. In my experience they run pretty true to size and don't slip down much if at all.

that's what I feared... I'm trying to get thinner. I'm 36in, and will probably stay there, but I fear a lack of drawstring will be a problem for me. I have a drawstring on my other MMA shorts and the incoming VENUM pair (thanks BJJHQ!) and that's what I like, in the event I don't have a rashguard tucked underneath, etc

I have bout 8 Clinch brand shorts. IMO- These are the worst shorts in the Clinch Gear line.
