I'm 6"1" 185 lbs I ordered the a3 and it was huge. I'd order an a2 for sure if you are on the border. I hot washed and hot dried mine a few times and got it to a wearable fit but an a2 I'm sure would of been way better for me

I would the a3 is still pretty big on me after shrinking it as much as i could. I would order this one if I wasn't broke lol I got the blue one.

I am 5'8" 160 lbs. I bought a standard gi in an A2 and it's a but large. I've worn it 4 or 5 times and it won't shrink. Suggestions on the size for me? Also does anyone know the last time this company had a black version of this deluxe gi? I'm looking for a black I replace the one I'm selling but this is a good deal to pass up on.

Yeah I got the blue a3 and it is big on me. I hot washed and hot dried (OH NO!) mine a few times and it fits better. these just fit a bit bigger and they are tough and very well built and hard to shrink

I'd go with the a2 I'm 6"1 and the a3 is still a little longer than I'd like it to be and big on me.

I was able to shrink it a little by hot washing and hot drying a few times you might fit the top a little better than me after shrinking but the pants still go all the way to the ground kinda walk on the bottom with my heels I'm still using it though and it's a tough well put together gi.

if you can't change the size just know that it might fit a little loose the only problem I really have noticed is that if you work open guard it's easier to get the pants and sleeves grabbed cuz of the baggage but I still love this gi I'm gunna order the black one in a2 next

You won't have to worry about fading. I personally like when a colored gi gets that worn faded look after repeated hard training sessions.
