I can speak from experience with both in A1XL being 6'0" 162lbs. The 93 450gsm absolutely feels heavier which made comp movement more awkward. Though they're both the same size, 93 is also slightly longer, especially the kimono even after high heat shrinking. In the gym there's a notable difference in breathability. Unfortunately my Kitsune is navy blue so I had to go with the heavier 93 in comp. Personally, I would prefer the Kitsune for comp.

I have this gi as well, and it bangs. A little bit of the stitching frayed on about an inch and a half of an inseam but otherwise amazingly soft and lightweight. Surprisingly durable given its weight. I’ve seen some complaints of pilling after the first washes though I didn’t have that issue.
