Kitsune Barrage Gear Bag

Bought this awhile back, very good quality(thick material like a gi). Inner layer has a liner. Perfect for daily if you're just transporting your gi/rashguard/shorts, but small if you plan on bringing other training stuff like gloves and shin pads. Not enough pockets, so you can't use this like a daily backpack.

Actually if you have one of those small stitching blades like the ones those seamstress uses, it's actually easy(just needs patients coz it's time consuming to get each thread if you want a clean look). I've done that to many of my older gi's and it does work. Mind you once you do this tho after several washes, the colour under the patch will be darker, Sonora best to do this before washing if the patch itself isn't to your liking.

Eventually when you compete you will cut weight, and these gi's do shrink but not much, however it does give you options for A3.

You're best to get A2, wash it in warm and tumble dry low. This should shrink the gi to fit(if you need to shrink more, repeat till it's right size). Once you like the size after several washes, then wear it once to train in and then wash in cold and hang the gi to dry, it will not shrink anymore, and it should seal the size to the way you fit.
Even when you lose the weight, it will fit even better.
