Gameness Pearl Gi in Black

Careful with your Black Gi purchases ladies and gents, the IBJJ will be limiting us to White or Blue in the upcoming season, and requiring competitors to bring one of each, and weigh in and be inspected in both, meaning all these black gi's we have will be good for nothing minus academy time. Just a heads up. For the record I have two of these and they are great!

Keiko Raca White Limited Edition Special Gi

One of the best gi's I've ever owned and if I didnt already have three Keiko's I'd get this one today. Great quality and durability, cut a bit slim so beware when ordering. I'm 5'10" 168 and the A3 fits nicely.

MMAHQ.com sells all the boxing gloves and headgear you can handle (not sure if you know of that one or not). This one is perfect for all us BJJ guys that had to patiently wait for HQ to give us something we liked.

His instructor is not an idiot, he's trying to preserve some tradition. Many entire Associations such as Gracie Humaita or Gracie Barra only allow White or Blue gis. Would you tell Royler or Draculino they were idiots??

HA, don't hold your breath on SYR. They don't even make enough to fill their orders the few times a year they're out. However, I have a brand new Shoyoroll Batch 9 Black on Black new in the bag I haven't put on yet I would be willing to let go. They only made 400 of these and were released at the 2011 Mundials

Shoyoroll doesn't even have Shoyoroll man ... only a few times a year can you get your hands on the stuff. They also only deal with NHBGear and BudoVideos as far as distributors goes. You have a better chance at seeing private lessons with Andre Galvao on here then Shoyoroll products LoL

Actually it will effect all levels, it's purpose has been identified as to eleviate scoring mistakes and the need for the torrah.

I have removed the huge patch off two Pearls one white one Black. The one seem is actually under the lapel, so you can't totally get it out, you just have to cut close as previously mentioned. On the white it wasn't such an issue, I got it so close you couldn't tell, on the black you could see tiny white threads, nothing black permanent marker didn't fix, and on this blue one I just bought I fully intend to do the same with the blue permanent marker if there are little white threads showing after the patch removal.

Jeff is correct. The BJJ Kimono is cut much slimmer and does not have as much material under the arms and in the skirt area.

Yeah IBJJF says no .... and many more smaller venues are starting to adopt IBJJF rules or will be doing so in 2012. I'd pass on this one if I were you, or use it as a training Gi, unless the guys in your Academy would rag on you for it .... some Academies do not even allow mismatched training uniforms either.
