This gi is IBJJF approved. Embroidery on the pants is 15cm from the bottom of the cuff and the other embroideries are are in approved locations as well. Thanks for the question!

Steven, you should really go with an A3. One of my training partners is 5'10" 180lbs and the A2 was a bit too snug for him.

I purchased the black Pro 1.0 when it was on sale here and it is a VERY light and comfy gi. With that being said, I am stoked that the 2.0 has ripstop pants. The 1.0 can compare to the Origin Comp 2013, just as light but the flow has a thicker collar. I am 5'5 and 160lbs and the Flow Pro 1.0 in size A1 fit very well. The Flow Pro 1.0 was great. I can only assume that the Flow Pro 2.0 will be better. PS I am eagerly anticipating the release of the Navy Hemp. Thank Flow and thanks Jon...Ossss

Bryan, thanks for supportingus as usual. You'll be blown away with the 2.0, I'm very proud of this release. We've kept the lightness of the 1.0, but improved upon fabric strength and stitching quality.

Also, the hemp should be out early July. Our factory is receiving the hemp fabric next week, and will start production on it shortly. We'll have the gis shipped to us via air courrier so that we can get the pre-orders filled ASAP!

A3H would work for you unless you plan on losing 10 lbs in the near future! If you lose wieght, you could probably wash on hot and dry on high heat several cycles to shrink it down to fit.

Is the logo (flower-like yellowish design) on the bicep of each arm, or just one? It's hard to tell from the pics. Overall fresh/clean looking gi, can't wait to try it on. This will be my first foray into half sizes (a2L), I hope it's as comfortable as it's described. Another quick question, how does it function once it's saturated with sweat? My vulkan pro always starts out comfortable then it gets progressively less comfortable as it gets wet and misshapen. Hoping that's not the case here. Let me know. Thanks,

I did some looking around and found that the logo is on both arms, so feel free to disregard that question. That said, I'm still interested to hear your answer to the second question. Let me/us know when you get a moment. Thanks,

If you are wondering whether or not the gi stretches or not when wet, I haven't experienced that. Pearl weave tends to be pretty stiff and good about not stretching. Vulkan uses a honeycomb weave, which in my experience tends not to perform as well when saturated with moisture.

I'm 5'6" and 147ish, A1 or A1L. I want it to be my competition gi, so it can't be too short. -Marie

Marie, I would go with the A1. A training partner of mine wears the A1L and he's 5'9" 155 and it fits him just right (pants stop at the ankles). I'd worry that the pants would be too long for you if you got an A1L. Another option: If you know of a good tailor, you could get the A1L and hem the pants and sleeves to your liking.
