I would go for an a 2 if I were you. There is a size calculator in the bottom of the description. Just hit it and it takes you to another screen, it will ask your height, weight, and model. This will give you a pretty good estimate. I have been told this shrinks a lot, wash on cold and hang dry.

I have this gi size a3, It fits me really nice. I an 5 Ft 9 in with a weight of 195 lbs. I have always washed it in cold and hung it to dry. If I was a little heavier I would have got an a4 and slowly shrunk to fit. I have wide shoulders and carry a lot of chest weight.

I would go with the a3, the a4 would be to baggy in my opinion.my a-3 fits me perfect.

I left a comment earlier but for some reason did not post.

Personally, I've had issues with the two Tatami Gis I bought. The jackets shrunk REALLY bad and I only washed them in cold water and hung them to dry. NEVER once did I wash them in hot water or used a dryer. It's a shame because I LOVE their pants with the pull cord instead of the usual draw string. The funny thing is that I've heard all the "warnings" about Fuji Gis "shrinking," yet the three Fuji Gis I have are AWESOME and have no complaints.

We no longer ship to Mexico. A large percentage of orders to Mexico never made it to the customers, which wasn't sustainable.

I'm 6'1" and 230. I got the A4 and I can still wash it in hot and dry hot without shrinking it after about 10 washes. The jacket fits great, but the pants are a bit long, but I have short legs. My friend has the A3, and the sleeves are a bit short (after shrinking) for me, even with short arms.

I was going to buy this.. but then the shipping makes it more expensive than buying it direct from Tatami's Australian store :(
