Komainu HEMP Jiu Jitsu Gi

Good quality, a bit thinner than Flow Kimonos hemp GI. Does not shed anywhere near as much. A bit baggier. Love 6 loops vs usual 4.

Komainu HEMP Jiu Jitsu Gi

After a problem with shipping, which BJJHQ corrected after I reached out, I received my GI today. Luxurious feel, even better than Flow Kimono's hemp gi. Stitching looks quality. I like the somewhat minimal patching going on; there's no wash tag or logo inside the GI.

Will be wearing it tomorrow for the post-Thanksgiving open mat.

This gi isn't listed on. Komainu Apparel's website - in fact, they have no GIs whatsoever listed. Can't find any reviews anywhere, either.

Anyone own this? How does it compare to Flow Kimonos hemp GI? How's the fit, wear, etc?

I'm 5'8", 198. I say it's baggy but then again all my sizes are baggy now. I wear an A2H in everything, and recently dropped 20 pounds.

Yes? Seems like to me. Compared to my Flow Kimonos natural white hemp, the quality is a little lower.

Shrinkage is minimal out of all Flow Kimonos GIs due to the heavier weight and tighter construction. I found this as a flaw for the A2H size, in that they didn't shrink enough when compared to my Flow Air white in A2H.
