Fuji All Around Navy Gi

In the same category as Martin, but a little heavier (175#). I've had a tough time with perfect fit. Is the A2L the way to go at my stats (5'11, 175#, 32" pant inseam, 34" dress shirt arm) ...or would an A3 in this type gi suffice? I have an A2 Hooks 2.0 (white) and missed the window to exchange sizes. It works OK, but may be too short by IBJJF; too short for my pref anyway. Live and learn I suppose.

So, from what I can tell above, the A2 vs A2L is really only going to affect the gi top (sleeve and skirt length)? I'm 5'11"/175# - my issue is usually with a pant inseam being a little too short (in regular A2's). Are the pants for an A2 adn A2L the same length?

100 Kilo v2 Unbleached Gi

So... with "virtually no shrinkage", does this mean it's almost impossible to shrink or it COULD be done with hot water/dryer? My gut is saying going A2L (34" sleeve / 32" inseam), as you can typically shrink a gi. But, I don't want to assume based on your previous response. (Sorry to be high maintenance here - just trying to avoid buyer's remorse before pulling the trigger...really want this gi!)

For reference, I purchased the 93 Brand Kilo a couple months ago. Certainly heavier but not "heavy" compared to Pearl Weave. However, comfort level is a 10. For me, the added strength and comfort (soft) is worth the slightly heavier material. Hope that helps.

I wasn't saying purple gave me "gender issues", but it obviously does others based on earlier posts. My personal ask is for neutral colors from a style standpoint and in making more sales - while also appeasing those feeling their masculinity being challenged by anything considered lavender. For example, most of my jeans are blue (neutral) while shirts are all over the place. I'm not opposed to purple - just wouldn't be my first choice. Of course, it's my OCD that probably is struggling to figure out what matches. How does that relate to skills on the mat? It doesn't ...at all ...and, yes, my OCD submits when belt color no longer coordinates with gi color.

Had same question as I sit right between 32/33. I went to their website and they equate 32" with Small and 34" with Medium. As I'm a medium in nearly everything else, I went up to 34 (also knowing I could cinch w/drawstring if needed). Hope that helps.

Almost exact same measurements with monkey arms (34" sleeve). Strongly recommend the A2L. A2 in body for sure, but for me, the "L" is key to meet my long, lanky arms and legs. If too much, you can always shrink some from there.

Tatami Estilo 6.0 Jiu Jitsu Gi - White/Orange

It has some heft but not ridiculous; just a sturdy build. Note: It definitely SHRINKS. I have the 6.0 in blue and cold/cold/hang still ended up with considerable shrinkage. Especially noticeable in sleeve length and skirt girth. Pants were largely unaffected though.

Agree w/response above. Shrinks very little compared to other brands. I have the “Cursive” and had to heat dry a little to get what I wanted for fit. Tatami on the other hand... your opponent’s hot breath will shrink it 2 sizes smaller.

Kitsune Cursive LITE - Black Jiu Jitsu Gi

I have the regular cursive. I’m a lanky 5’11” and 175#. Fit is good. I think I shrunk the top slightly for better fit/sleeve length. My only complaint is that the legs are pretty wide compare to other gis I have. Maybe this version w/different material is narrower?
