It costs as much as the scramble shorts which are 70 dollars MSRP though. This is more around the ballpark of 45 ish MSRP

so I'm not saving as much as I would like, but it is a nice savings. But I already own a couple of rash guards and the purpose of me buying this is merely for its look rather than need... :(

I own an a1 at 5'5 125 lbs. The sleeves are a bit short to be honest with you while the pants are very loose.

Yeah A1 is probably best suited for someone around the 5'6/140 lb range.

I would say they run a little small, that or they shrink a lot. I own an A1 and I'm 5'5 125 lbs and it is my smallest A1 I own. (Vulkan, Tatami, Ground Control)

According to the review posted by aaron, it is closer to 4 lbs than it is to 3. (3.8 lbs)

I'd imagine an A4 is about 4.1/4.2 lbs.

I wouldn't use this gi for competition. It's fairly heavier than comparable gis and the fabric feels thick.

This is a great gi for training and a good way to fill out your rotation.
